Q: What is one office?

A: It is a service that allows Celtel customers from Uganda, Kenya or Tanzania to be able to use GPRS (DATA) across the 3 East African Countries.

Q: Will Customers need to change their settings incase they travel?

A:No. Customers only need to select the browser on their phones on reaching any of the 3 countries the same way they are doing it at home. Incases if it fails, customer may need to restart his/her handset (switching off and on)

Q: If customer wants to download home country ring tones when he is in other Celtel One Network country, what does he need to do?

A:Customer just needs to follow the same procedure he follows when in home country (Open home page: (http://portal.celtel.com) and then follow the usual procedure.

Q: Which Services should the customers expect?

A: Celtel Access and Celtel Portal (Mobile Fun) services are available. Customers with Blackberry service can also enjoy the service while in other Celtel One Network East African country. MMS/Picture messaging will come in at a later stage.

Q: If customer travels before activated GPRS settings, can he send the same keywords (portal, mms and internet) to 175 for GPRS Settings?

A:We advise customers to have devices properly configured before crossing the boarders, but they still will be able to receive settings even when away from the home country.

Q: If I have a laptop with GPRS card, will I be able to use it access Internet in Kenya and Tanzania?

A:Yes, and regardless of the tariff plan you are. Just ensure you leave the country with PC card properly configured (correct settings).

Q: Are there any specific websites I am allowed to visit when roaming?

A:You are allowed to visit all websites available.

Q: Is One Office support GPRS-EDGE technology?

A:Yes, One Office supports GPRS-EDGE technology were it is available.

Q: Are all Celtel countries considered for introduction of One Office service?

A: Initially One Office will be available in only 3 countries: Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
